Mary "Maggie" Magdalene (Ingersol) Selvage

Mary "Maggie" Magdalene Selvage, devoted mother and grandmother, 78, of Trenton, OH formerly of Pike County, KY passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024.  Born May 15, 1945 in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Lori Ingersol.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Selvage, son, Ronald Selvage Jr., sisters, Norma Thacker, Ellen New, Della Rayburn, Bessie Mounts, and Tammy Collins, and brothers, Gene Ingersol, Johnny Ingersol, James Ingersol, Levi Ingersol Jr., Michael Ingersol, and Robert Ingersol.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee during the summer.

Mary is survived by her children, Christopher (Jaimi) Selvage, Sonia (Bill) Schilling, and Anthony "Taft" (Jill) Riggs; her grandchildren, Sianna Selvage, Christian Adkins, Zayden Cope, Dallin Cope, Jozee Selvage, Braden Schilling, Kaden Schilling, Christopher Selvage Jr., Marcus Riggs, Daniel Joseph Riggs,Taft Riggs, Laura Riggs, Kaitlyn Riggs, DJ Riggs, Taylor Selvage, and Austin Selvage; her siblings, Dani Gauze, Betty Harshbarger, and Charles Ingersol.  Also surviving is a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Belfry, KY with her son, Rev. Anthony "Taft" Riggs officiating.  Burial will follow in the Taylor Mounts Cemetery at Barrenshea Creek; Freeburn, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends beginning at 11:30 am Saturday at the funeral home.
