Albert Lee Perkins Jr.

Albert Lee Perkins Jr., 93, of Williamson, WV passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 at the Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson, KY.  Born March 6, 1932 in Matewan, WV, he was the son of the late Albert Lee Perkins Sr. and the late Cora Woodward Perkins. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Perkins, 2 brothers, Ernest Perkins and Bobby Joe Perkins, and 4 sisters, Lois (Freddie) Runyon, Ann (Murl) Blevins, Dimple Stumbo, and Loretta May. 

Survivors include his daughter, Cora Ratcliff of Wiliamson, WV, a brother, Clifford Perkins of Williamson, WV, 3 sisters, Phyllis Gannon of Prestonsburg, KY, Joyce Perkins of Middleport, OH, and Helen Wolfe of Ashland, KY, 3 grandchildren, Thurman Johnson, Will Johnson, and Martha Netherly all of Williamson, WV, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 14, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with his sister, Helen Wolfe, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens at Huddy, KY with Clifford Perkins Jr., Will Johnson, Thurman Johnson, Jon Netherly, Daniel Bowen, and Keith Netherly serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will begin at 11:00 am for family and 12:00 pm for friends Monday at the funeral home.
