Alice Faye (Gooslin) Williams

Alice Faye Gooslin Williams, 99, of Red Jacket, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from the Pikeville Medical Center.  Born August 15, 1925 in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Elizabeth Blackburn Gooslin. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Williams, two sons, Jackie Bennett Williams and Ronnie Williams, a daughter, Brenda Osborne, three grandsons, Kevin, Brian, and Nick, two daughters-in-law, Mavis and Josephine, and by all of her brothers and sisters. 

Alice was a homemaker and member of the First Assembly of God at North Matewan. 

Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Williams (Ancel) Hendricks of Cullman, AL, her son, Bernie Randall Williams of Red Jacket, WV, son-in-law, Grant Osborne of Columbus, OH, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of friends. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Rev. Lowell Sparks officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cisco Cemetery at Pie, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
