Anna Mae Blankenship, 79, of Hatfield, KY passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 at her home.
Born September 14, 1940 in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Anna Artrip Blevins.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Barbara Harrison, Mary Katherine Blevins, and Carolyn Runyon, and 4 brothers, Cecil Blevins Jr., David Blevins, Daniel Blevins, and Darryl Blevins.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Blankenship of Hatfield, KY, her children, Lyda Faye (Kenny) Morris of Dix Fork, KY, Greg (Suzanne) Blankenship of Pinsonfork, KY, and Robert Lee (Sheena) Blankenship of Sidney, KY, 2 brothers, George Blevins and Johnny Blevins both of Martin County, KY, 3 sisters, Tootsie Jude of Martin County, KY, Louise Harrison of Martin County, KY, and Minnie Pearl Harrison of Hatfield, KY, her grandchildren, Jessica (Anthony) Carter, Kendra (Adam) Hensley, Chase Blankenship, Robert (Keonia) Blankenship Jr., Katelyn Blankenship, Preston Blankenship, and Dakota Blankenship, her great-grandchildren, Erika and Madison Carter, Breonna Blankenship, Peyton, Damon, and Kane Hensley.
Also surviving is a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Pastor Dwayne Yates officiating. Burial will follow in the Stepp Cemetery at Hatfield, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
In accordance with state regulations concerning COVID-19, the funeral home is limited to only 33% attendance capacity that can be allowed inside at any given time. Additionally, anyone attending is asked to wear a mask, if at all possible, and to maintain social distancing of 6 feet apart.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to assist with funeral expenses.
