Asher Hunter Gray Dotson, infant son of Adam and Noelle (Fields) Dotson of Matewan, WV, gained his angel wings on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born Monday, February 14, 2022 in Cincinnati, Asher was 2 days old.
He was welcomed into Heaven by his big brother, Grayson Wyatt Lee Dotson. Asher’s life may have been short, but he was loved and cherished beyond measure and he will always be remembered.
In addition to his big brother Grayson, he was also preceded in death by his paternal great-great grandparents, Don and Osie Dotson, paternal great-great-grandfather, Grady Jessee Jr., paternal great-great-grandmother, Evelyn Ingersol, and maternal great-grandparents, Helen and Ernie Fields, and maternal great-great-grandparents, Orville and Joella McCoy.
His memory will be cherished by his parents, Adam and Noelle (Fields) Dotson of Matewan, WV, his paternal grandparents, David and Leigh Dotson of Dorton, KY and Angel Dotson of Matewan, WV, his maternal grandparents, Heather and Kelly Layne of Phelps, KY, paternal great-grandparents, Larry and Faye Dotson of Matewan, WV, Lora and Don Epling of Louisa, KY, and Charles McCoy of Charleston, WV, his paternal great-great-grandmother, Joyce Jessee of Matewan, WV, his aunts and uncles, David (Auna) Dotson, Madison Dotson, Morgan Dotson, Levi Layne, Richard (Jennifer Sparks) Fields, and Chad Fields, special cousins, Jackson, Hunter, Rachel, Kolton, and Paisley, and a special family, Allison, Brittany, and Michelle.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Freeburn Church of God with Rev. Denny Land officiating. Burial will follow in the Dotson Family Cemetery at Blackberry City, WV.
The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 pm Sunday at the Freeburn Church of God.
