Betty Sue Dotson

Betty Sue Dotson, 71, of Ransom, KY passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Born October 31, 1952 in Williamson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Norma Hager Dotson. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Zornes, brothers, Ricky Dotson and Jason Dotson, and a sister-in-law, Pricey Dotson.

Betty was a retired CNA. 

Survivors include her granddaughters, Cassie (Eli) Salmons of Huddy, KY, Hailey Zornes of Phelps, KY, and Kimberly Dotson of Huddy, KY, her great grandchildren, Amara and Alayna Salmons, brothers, Steven Dotson of Ransom, KY, Don (Sherry) Dotson of Ransom, KY, George (Pam) Dotson of Ransom, KY, Sammy Dotson of Morehead, KY, and Jonathan Dotson of Ransom, KY, sisters, Lynn (Moncie) Dotson of Phelps, KY and Betty (Freddie) Bowling of Ransom, KY.  Also surviving is a host of other family and friends. 

In honoring Betty’s wishes, cremation will take place.
