Billy "Bill" Hill

Billy Hill, 78 of Lenoir City, TN, passed away on June 10, 2024.  He was the son of Allie and Dennie Hill of Beech Creek, WV, and one of twelve brothers and sisters. Bill was a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. He received the Purple Heart among other metals, ribbons, and citations. He was a proud Marine. 

Surviving are his wife Marian (Mitchem) Hill; a daughter Lisa Hapney (Randy) and their children Olivia and Nathan; a son Eric Hill (Traci) and their son Derek. 

In honor of his wishes, there will be no funeral or services. He will receive military honors conducted by the DAV Chapter 141 of Belfry, KY at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel, Toler, KY on June 15, 2024 at 12:30 pm.   Private family burial will take place in the Hill Cemetery at Beech Creek, WV.
