Bonnie June (Curry) Stanley

Bonnie June (Curry) Stanley, 71, of Chattaroy, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at her home.  Born December 11, 1949 in Williamson, WV, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Dollie Marie “Nannie” Thompson Curry.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, David Curry and Zack Curry.

Bonnie was a retired LPN having worked for 10 years at the Appalachian Regional Hospital and for 19 years in the office of Dr. Chou in Williamson.  She was a member of the Connolly Memorial Baptist Church in Delbarton, WV.  As a nurse, Bonnie greatly loved her job and patients.  She loved the Lord with all her heart and looked forward to attending church.  She held all her family close to her heart, especially her grandchildren and 3 fur babies. 

Survivors include her husband, Gregory Stanley of Chattaroy, WV, her children, John Wesley Stanley of Chattaroy, WV, Melanie Hope Stanley (Mark Steven) Christian of Williamson, WV, and Angela Sue Stanley (Shannon) Hall of Inez, KY, 1 brother, Billy Lee (Lori) Curry of Belton, TX, 1 sister, Tammi (Ronnie) Durham of Georgetown, KY, her grandchildren, Camila Marlene Stanley, Christopher Corbin “Corey” Stanley, Clarence Wesley Stanley, Matthew Ryan (Kaitlyn Brooke) Christian, Megan Paige Christian, Corie Hall, Hannah Hall, Ashley Duncan, Sarah (Jacob) Smith, and Jeremy Duncan, 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Bro. Jerry Belcher officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens at Maher, WV with Corey Stanley, Matthew Christian, Ronnie Durham, Mark Christian, Shannon Hall, Bill Curry, and Wesley Stanley serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
