Brenda Sue (Swafford) Dent

Brenda Sue Dent, 74, of Williamson, WV passed away Friday; November 21, 2025 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV.  Born September 22, 1951 in Williamson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth Smith Swafford.

Brenda was a homemaker and previously worked as a stage hand setting up trade shows in Florida. 

Survivors include her husband, Gary Dent of Williamson, WV; her children, Tammy Myers (Dale Patterson) of Williamson, WV, Howard (Lisa) Myers of Turkey Creek, KY, Liz Myers (Josh Worley) of Stone, KY, and Jazmine Dent (Jeannie Allen) of Williamson, WV; 1 brother, Raymond Swafford of South Williamson, KY; her grandchildren, Alyssa Myers (Brian Odell Davis), Isabella Evans, Charley Swafford, and Everleigh Anderson.; 3 nephews, Matthew Elliott, Daniel Colton, and Michael Carnley; and special friends, Linda, Cameron, and Jacob Blevins.

No services are scheduled.  A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
