Brenda Jane (Maynard) McCoy

Brenda Jane McCoy, 76, of Williamson, WV passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY.  Born July 5, 1948 in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Roy Elmer and Opal Mae Smith Maynard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter “Dinky” McCoy Jr., and siblings, Connie Maynard, Darlene Leake, Barbara Helvey, Kathy Branham, Patys O’Brien, Emma Sue Moyer, Johnny Maynard, Roy Maynard Jr., and Mary Gaddis. 

Brenda was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. 

Survivors include her daughter, Alesia Renee (Todd) Robinson of Rock Island, IL, 2 brothers, Sammy (Kim) Maynard of Mt. Sterling, KY and Jack (Patty) Maynard of Morristown, TN, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In honoring Brenda’s wishes cremation will be observed and no services will be held.
