Carl Lynn Sheppard

Carl Lynn Sheppard, 56, of Winco Block; Williamson, WV passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at his home following a short illness.  Born August 11, 1963 in Mingo County, WV, he was the son of the late Casper and Kathleen New Sheppard.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Janet Brugh Sheppard; his longtime companion, Joann Perry, three brothers, Harlan Sheppard, Roger Sheppard, and Marshall Sheppard; and one sister, Geneva Spradlin.

Carl worked for many years as an auto detailer for local car dealerships, and then for several years in an auto detailing business with his brother Eddie in West Williamson.  He enjoyed bowling and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Survivors include three brothers, Eddie (Geraldine) Sheppard of Louisa, KY, Faddus (Margie) Sheppard of Ashland, VA, and Ricky Sheppard of Williamson, WV, five sisters, Carol McCoy, Debra (Tommy Cox) Workman, and Wilda (Whitfield) Collins all of Williamson, WV, Geraldine Steele of Turkey Creek, KY, and Teresa Spradlin (George Hignite) of Lenore, WV; 3 step-daughters, 2 step-sons, a special cousin, Pamela Hignite, a special friend, Terry Jarvis, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 19, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Jarvis Cemetery at Winco Block with Bro. Earl White officiating.  Nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm Friday at the funeral home and is open to all of Carl's family and friends that would like to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
