Carolyn Ann Gearhart

Carolyn Ann Gearhart, 59, of Ransom, KY passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Born September 7, 1965 in McDowell, KY, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Ella Innis Burgess.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis Gearhart, and two brothers, Tom Dudley and Jim Dudley Jr. 

Carolyn was a homemaker and was of the of the Old Regular Baptist faith. 

Survivors include her husband, James D. Hatfield of Ransom, KY, her daughter, Elizabeth (Daniel) Williams of Mouthcard, KY, two grandchildren, Madison and Dawson Williams, two sisters, Linda Hopkins and special brother in law Samuel Cox of Mouthcard, KY and Brenda Clevinger Tennessee, two brothers, David Burgess of Mouthcard, KY and Joe (Patti) Burgess of Big Rock, VA, and a host of other family and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Bro. Gary Hatfield officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hatfield Family Cemetery at Ransom, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Wednesday evening with services at 7:00 pm.
