Cecil Todd Ferguson

Cecil Todd Ferguson, 51, of Williamson, WV passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Born January 3, 1973 in South Williamson, KY, he was the son of the late John Lewis Ferguson and the late Dorothy Marie Marcum Ferguson McCoy. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Tamatha Tarrell Kidd, a brother, John Lewis Ferguson Jr., and a nephew, Russell Ferguson.

He was a former coal miner and attended the Fifth Avenue Church of Christ. 

Survivors include his children, Megan Ann Ferguson of Asheboro, NC, Cecil Todd Ferguson Jr. (Crystal) of Asheboro, NC, and Bradley Taylor of Seagrove, NC, stepchildren, Brittany Ball and Dustin Ball (Tiffany) both of Kenton, OH, his siblings, Brenda Ferguson Marcum of Williamson, WV, William Thomas (Kristi) McCoy of Williamson, WV, and Randall McCoy (Jennifer) of Harpers Ferry, WV, his grandchildren, Kaelynn, Cameron, Kaeleigh, and Jaylon Bowden, 2 step-grandchildren, Lillie Ball and Ellie Ball,  his longtime and loving companion, Katrina Workman of Williamson, WV, a special friend, Randy Sebastian, his fur baby, Hunter, and a host of other friends. 

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Fifth Avenue Church of Christ in Williamson, WV with Pastor Timmy Lucas officiating.  Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Emily Creek; Pilgrim, KY with Randy Sebastian, Randall McCoy, William McCoy, J.J. Workman, Jerry Cannode, Derrick Bowden, and Dustin Ball serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be after 6:00 pm Saturday at the Fifth Avenue Church of Christ.
