Charles David Stepp Jr., 34, beloved son, brother, and uncle, of Houston, TX formerly of Williamson, WV went home to his eternal resting place on October 10, 2021, the victim of a violent homicide. Born July 19, 1987 in South Williamson, KY, he was the son of the late Charles “Pete” Stepp and the late Ersie Marie (Francis) Stepp.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Greg Stepp.
Survivors include his two sisters, Tina Stepp and her partner Josh Duty of Ohio and Mildred (Henry) Whitt of Ohio, two nieces, Brooklynn Stepp “Sissy” and Katelynn Whitt “Kate Tatter”, three nephews, William Whitt “Little Man”, Jayden Stepp “J.J.”, and Tyler Isaiah, five bonus nieces, Angel (Brad) Duty, Easter (Randy) Hannah, Jennifer (Kris) Moyer, Tiffany Whitt, and Deanna Blankenship; a very special friend, Thomas Powell of Texas, uncles, Henry Francis Jr., Gary Stepp, and Johnny Stepp, aunts, Rita McCoy and Maxine Thacker, and a host of cousins and friends.
In honor of his wishes he will be cremated and his remains will rest forever beside his beloved mother and father in the Stepp Cemetery in Sidney, KY. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hatfield Funeral Chapel or to a Crime Victims Compensation Fund.
