Charles "Chuckie" Henry Gillman

Charles “Chuckie” Henry Gillman,74, of Hatfield, KY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, KY.  Charles was born August 26, 1949 in Holden, WV, the fifth child of the late Claude Gillman and Geneva Runyon Gillman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janie Gillman, and 5 brothers, Elmer Gillman, Russell Gillman, Willie Gillman, Sidney Gillman, and Larry Gillman.

Charles was a loving husband, father, a great friend, and a fantastic mechanic.  He formerly worked as a masonry in construction.

Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Sue Wolfe Gillman of Hatfield, KY, his children, Ashley Danielle Wolfe and Jeremy Ryan Wolfe of Hatfield, KY, Laura (Jamie) Henry of Varney, WV, Judy Marie Gillman, and Mary Ellen Gillman of Delbarton, WV, his siblings, Ance Gillman of Duncan Fork, WV, Mary Hall of South Williamson, KY, Exie Louise Workman of Omar, WV, Nancy Adkins of Newtown, WV, and Helen Ruth Spurlock of Kenova, WV, grandchildren, Ryder and Ryker Henry and several others, and a host of friends.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Francis Cemetery at Huntleyville, KY with Bro. Earl White speaking and burial to follow with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
