Chester Leo Scott

Chester Leo Scott, 103, of Georgetown, KY formerly of Hardy, KY and Holiday, FL died Thursday, December 9, 2021 at his home in Ashton Grove Senior Living surrounded by his family.  He was born October 8, 1918 to Mack and Bessie Scott in Logansport, Indiana.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorena Smythe Scott, his beautiful daughter, Mary Sheryle Elkins, and 2 brothers, Ray Scott and Paul Scott.

Leo was retired from Norfolk & Southern Railroad as a clerk.  He retired to Holiday, FL where he spent most of his time golfing and bowling.  He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his son, George Douglas and wife Brenda of Georgetown, KY, his son-in-law, Danny Elkins of Franklin, TN, 3 grandsons, Barry (Mary) Elkins of Brentwood, TN, Michael (Regina) Elkins of Centerville, TN, and Brian (Samantha) Scott of Georgetown, KY, his great-grandchildren, Rachel (Jordan) Flom, Cooper (Julia) Elkins, Griffin Elkins, Adley Elkins, Weston Elkins, Madison Scott, and Conner Scott, and a great-great-granddaughter, Emerson Rose Flom.

Leo's life will be celebrated in burial by his family at a later date.
