Claude Eugene Francis

Claude Eugene Francis, 55, of Blackberry City; Matewan, WV passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Born November 12, 1967 in Logan, WV, he was the son of Wilda Mounts Armstrong of Matewan, WV and the late Ray Francis.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Little Ray Francis, Darrell Franklin Francis, and Thomas Francis.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Wilda and Sarge Armstrong, his wife, Brenda Pruitt Francis of Matewan, WV, one son, Jeffery Francis of Strawberry Plains, TN, two sisters, Clarissa Tackett of Red Jacket, WV and Sheila Francis, one brother, Randall Lee Francis of Matewan, WV, 3 grandchildren, special friends, Claude and Joyce Starr of Blackberry City, WV, and a host of other family and friends.

In honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held.
