Darvin Wolford

Darvin Wolford, 57, of Beech Creek, WV passed away Friday, June 7, 2024 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.  Born November 30, 1966 in Williamson, WV, he was the son of Drewey Wolford of Beech Creek, WV and the late Lillian Hatfield Wolford. 

In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Charles “Wooker” Wolford, his paternal grandparents, Willie and Rebecca Wolford, and his maternal grandparents, Ance and Nany Jane Hatfield.

Darvin formerly worked for Bowens at Mate Creek packaging roof bolts.  Before his illness, he liked to work with his dad in the garage and to hunt and fish.  He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his dad, Drewey Wolford of Beech Creek, a lifelong special friend, Robbie Sipple of Newtown, WV, and a host of cousins and other friends. 

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the Wolford Family Cemetery at Beech Creek with Bro. David Blankenship officiating.  Burial will follow with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
