Dean Francis

Dean Francis, 65, of Hatfield, KY passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY.  Born October 29, 1955 in Williamson, WV, he was the son of Joyce Manns Francis of Hatfield, KY and the late Curtis “Bo” Francis.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a son, Alan Francis. 

Dean was a retired coal operator and coal miner and he was of the Freewill Baptist faith. 

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Sharon Ooten Francis of Hatfield, KY, his son, Adam (Shelley) Francis of Hatfield, KY, his precious grandson, Maverick Bo Francis of Hatfield, KY, one brother, Dallas (Robin) Francis and their son, Andrew (Staci) Francis of Hatfield, KY, one sister, Sandra L. Francis and her son, Ryan Stiltner of Hatfield, KY, and a host of other family and friends. 

A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Ooten Cemetery at Trace Creek, Delbarton, WV with Bro. Earl White officiating.  Burial will follow with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Due to the COVID 19 health situation, all attendees must wear a mask or facial covering and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
