Deborah Ann York Cisco, 64, of Merrimac, WV passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. Born September 15, 1957 at Williamson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Cynthia Steele York.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dale Cisco; a daughter, Misty Dawn Cisco; 1 sister and brother-in-law Davelene and Jack Varney; 2 brothers, Clyde York Jr. and James Buddy York; and a special nephew, Chris Rolen.
Debbie was a homemaker and former nurse’s aide at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson, KY. She attended the New Vision Assembly of God Church at Matewan, WV.
Survivors include her daughter, Melissa (Jamie) Vance of Merrimac, WV; 2 grandchildren, James Hunter Vance and Lindsey Cheyenne Vance both of Merrimac, WV; 3 brothers, Robert (Wanda) York, Mark York, and Timmy (Sissy) York all of Merrimac, WV; 3 sisters, Pam (Ricky) Rolen, Mary York, and Vada York all of Merrimac, WV; her special nephews and nieces, Matt York, Austin York, Shane (Crystal) York, Joe Joe Hamilton, Markah York, Cynthia Kaye (Timmy) Justice, Cindy (Johnny) Adams, Donna (Bernard) Stuart, and Michelle (Tony) Hill, Shelly Bug Hamilton, and Sierra (Tavis) Fields; her very good friends, Pam Yates, Theresa Yates, Barbara York Bogar, Bill Vance, and Gunner Sesco who always called her Clint; and a very special sister-in-law, Clursey Blankenship. Also surviving is a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the New Vision Assembly of God Church at Hatfield Bottom; Matewan, WV with Pastor Ron Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Merrimac Cemetery at Merrimac, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be for family only beginning at 4:00 pm Thursday. The family will welcome friends beginning at 6:00 pm Thursday evening at the New Vision Assembly of God where a special service will be held at 7:00 pm with Bro. Dallas Rife officiating.
