Delana Carol (Sweeney) Canterbury

Delana Carol Sweeney Canterbury, 55, of Fort Gay, WV was born February 5, 1967 in Cook County, Chicago, IL.  She went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 7, 2022 at St. Mary’s Medical Center surrounded by her family. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Lloyd Canterbury, three children, Daryle (Ashley) Sweeney, Kathleen Canterbury, and Lloyd (Crystalyn) Canterbury, 10 grandchildren, and three siblings, Cathy (Junior) Pennington, Linda (Pedro) Andrade, and Tommy Sweeney, as well as a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, and a host of very special loved ones. 

Services are still being determined by the family and will be given at a later time.
