Delores Ann (Dotson) Hatfield

Delores Ann Hatfield, 73, of McCarr, KY went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from the Pikeville Medical Center.  Born July 7, 1949 at Welch, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Oscar and Beatrice Collins Dotson. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her special grandmother who meant the world to her, Granny Collins. 

Delores was a loving wife, dedicated mother, and an outstanding grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was a devoted Christian who always held a very strong faith in the Lord and was a member of the Full Gospel Church and often attended the Cornerstone Church at Matewan, WV.  She formerly worked at Kings Restaurant, Superior Electric, and as a caregiver.

Survivors include her husband, McArthur Hatfield of McCarr, KY, her daughter, Jenny Ann Hatfield of Matewan, WV, two grandchildren, Ashley (Matt) Dixon of Chattaroy, WV and Justin Hatfield of Matewan, WV, three great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Mattox Dixon, Axton Dixon, and Makenzi Grace Ann Dixon, a special sister-in-law, Bonnie Mammo of Ashland, KY, and a host of friends. 

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Family Cemetery at Auburn Hollow; McCarr, KY with burial to follow with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be after 6:00 pm Tuesday evening at the Cornerstone Church at Hatfield Bottom; Matewan, WV with services at 7:00 pm. 

Bro. Bill Browning and Bro. Tommy Whitt will be officiating the services.
