Doris Judy Teeters

Doris Judy Teeters, 73, of Huntington, WV formerly of Chattaroy, WV passed from this life to her Heavenly home to be with her God on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  Born July 13, 1948 at Chattaroy, WV, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Emma Diamond Teeters. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Whitt, and brothers, John, Jack, Bill, Bob, Howard, and David Teeters. 

Doris loved to listen to services from the Pinsonfork Church of God on her Ipad.  She never missed a Sunday sermon and would tell all about what Pastor preached on.  She loved to read the Bible.  Her family and her little dog, Oliver, were her priorities.  Doris enjoyed simple things in life.  She loved game night with her nephew Nathan.  Doris never complained. 

She will be missed beyond words by her niece Jamie and her husband Frank Hawkins with whom she made her home. 

Additionally, those left to cherish her memories are her sister, Margaret (Jim) Spurgeon, brothers, Larry (Dixie) Teeters, Charles (Carol) Teeters all of Ohio, Jim Teeters of Delbarton, WV, and Samuel Teeters of Chattaroy, WV.  She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Bro. Justin Holbrook officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens at Maher, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Sunday evening at the funeral home. 

Due to the current Covid19 health situation, all in attendance are required to wear a mask or facial covering at all times and adhere to social distancing guidelines when possible.
