Earl Edward Hite

Earl Edward Hite, 75, of Varney, WV passed away suddenly Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in the emergency room at the Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson, KY.  Born December 5, 1946 at Delbarton, WV, he was the son of the late James and Roxie Hignite Hite.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Lorine Lawson Hite; 1 sister, Rosalie Hill, and 3 brothers, Donald Hite, Sherman Hite, and Homer Hite.

Earl was a loader operator at the former Colonial Stairs and Woodworking factory at Varney, WV.

Survivors include his children, James (Monica) Hite of Newtown, WV, Mose (Opal) Hite of Varney, WV, Jason Hite of Varney, WV, Earline Hite of Varney, WV and Penny Hite of Dingess, WV; 2 sisters, Ida Mae (Ed) Williams of Suffolk, VA and Linda (Jimmy) Vance of Justice, WV; his grandchildren, Chloe Hite, Mary Hite, Jack Hite, Kendal Hite, Hannah Hite, Braxton Hite, Destiny Baisden, Candace Baisden, and Madison Baisden.  Also surviving is a host of friends.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Cisco-Lawson Cemetery on Right Hand Fork at Beech Creek, WV with Bro. Archie Kevin Blankenship and Bro. Travis Simpkins officiating.  Burial will follow.
