Earyetta (Montgomery) Gillman

Earyetta Gillman, 77, of Riverfront Road; Martin County, KY went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from the Pikeville Medical Center.  Born December 16, 1943 at White Post, KY, she was the daughter of the late Dee Montgomery and the late Ada Brewer Montgomery Preece.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Gillman, 4 sisters, Vickie Montgomery, Francis Morris, Clara Patrick, and Rena Mae Calhoun, and 1 brother, Edward Montgomery.

Earyetta was a homemaker and a member of the Huntleyville Gospel Revelation Church. She enjoyed traveling and going to the mall and Delbarton Opry House and listening to area groups playing gospel and bluegrass music.

Survivors include her daughter, Dixie Gillman of Martin County, KY, 2 grandchildren, Amber Michelle Ray and Grover Firel Bentley both of Florida, 4 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, James Lee Montgomery of Hatfield, KY, Carl Gene Montgomery of Paris, TN, and William Luther Montgomery of Hatfield, KY, 1 sister, Joyce Gauze of North Carolina, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the Huntleyville Gospel Revelation Church with Pastor Harrison Baisden officiating.  Burial will follow in the Goff Cemetery in Martin County, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin for family at 2:00 pm and after 3:00 pm for friends on Friday at the Huntleyville Gospel Revelation Church where services will be held at 7:00 pm.
