Emmit Howard Prince

Emmit Howard Prince, 77, of Hatfield, KY passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 at the King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.  Born March 13, 1945 in Williamson, WV, he was the son of the late Riley and Lola Marcum Prince.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Penny Rosalie Preece Prince, a son, Brian Keith Prince, and a step-daughter, Pamela Maynard Williamson.

Howard was a retired engineer with Norfolk & Southern Railroad and he was a member of the Mingo/Pike Car Club.

Survivors include his son, Howard Lee (Joann) Prince of Aflex, KY, a brother, William Prince of Conway, SC, two stepdaughters, Tammy Young of Belfry, KY and Jamie Gail (Jeffrey) Arkhiom of Sydney, Australia, special friends, Danny Swaffard of Chattaroy, WV and Rebecca Francis and her family of Hatfield, KY.  Also surviving is a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Mt. View Memory Gardens at Huddy, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
