Eunice B. (Blackburn) Williamson

Eunice B. Williamson, 93, of Belfry, KY passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Center in Phelps, KY.  Born September 3, 1931 at Canada, KY, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Rosie West Blackburn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Williamson, 2 sons, Dale Williamson and Wesley Derek Williamson, a granddaughter, Rebekah Kaye Williamson, 5 infant siblings, and 2 brothers, Jessie James Blackburn and Clarence “L.B.” Blackburn. 

Eunice retired from the Kentucky Department of Human Resources with over 23 years of service. Until her illness she was very active in the community from church events to helping plan school reunions. 

Survivors include her son, Reginald Eugene (Alina “Tankie”) Williamson of Pikeville, KY, 2 sisters, Jeanette Hare of Circleville, OH and Ann Howell of Pikeville, KY. 

A graveside service will be held Monday, September 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Williamson Cemetery at Huddy, KY with Pastor Mike Smith officiating and burial will follow.
