Foster Dean “Bob” Webb, 84, of Williamson, WV passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his home. Born April 11, 1936 in Williamson, WV, he was the son of the late Foster and Fern Curry Webb.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Randy Webb, his siblings, Donald Webb, Bill Webb, Roger Webb, Glenn Webb, Danny Ray Webb, Terry Allan Webb, and Dennis Webb, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clyde William Lloyd and Braska (Dean) Lloyd.
Bob was a retired engineer from the N&W Railroad with over 40 years of service. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army, and attended the Williamson Church of God. Bob never met a stranger. He would strike up a conversation with anyone. He was well known for his roller skating, his magic tricks, and for teaching numerous area children how to swim at the Williamson pool.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 64 years, Anna Louise “Lou” Lloyd Webb of Williamson, WV, his son, Darren (Venessa) Webb of South Point, OH, his daughter, Ginger (Eddie) Lockwood of Hillsboro, VA, his siblings, Janetta (the late Jack) Ling of Live Oak, FL, Jealene Cole & James Robinson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Ruth (Larry) Curry of Cynthiana, KY, Rosemary (Terry) Forrester of Reading, OH, Jimmy Webb of Williamson, WV, Darlene (Gary) Varney of Lutz, FL, sisters-in-law, Lois Webb of Williamson, WV, Emma Webb of Rawl, WV, Brenda Webb of Columbus, OH, and Julie Webb of Conroe, TX, a daughter-in-law, Lisa Webb of Salt Lake City, UT, his grandchildren, James D. Webb of Huntington, WV, Dereck A. Webb of Salt Lake City, UT, Anna Michelle Ferrell and Matthew Ferrell of Roanoke, VA. Also surviving is a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 pm on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY. Services honoring Bob will be held at 7:00 pm with Pastor Earl Coleman officiating. Bob’s wishes of cremation will be honored following the service on Friday.
