On January 2, 2025, Frances Elizabeth (Wellman) Wallace, quietly went to meet her Savior. She was born March 14, 1928, to Flora and Sherman Wellman. Frances was a longtime resident in the Lexington area. Previously, she lived in the Pond Creek and Forest Hills area.
She worked for the C&P Telephone Company in Williamson, WV, from the time she was in high school until she retired after 50 years of service. She was known for her grace and strong Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene Wallace, great nephew, John Adam Salisbury, and brother-in-law, Clinton Ervin (Tink) Coleman.
She is survived by her sister Lou Anna (Wellman) Coleman, niece, Karen Coleman Salisbury (John), nephew Craig Coleman (Heather), Matthew Coleman (Vicki), nephew David Hatfield, plus great niece Jennifer Salisbury (John and Karen Salisbury), great-great nephew Wyatt Steele and great-great niece Emersyn Hans (Jennifer), great nephew and great niece, Mason and Maggie Coleman (Craig and Heather Coleman), and great nephew, Jacob Coleman (Matthew and Vicki Coleman) Funeral services will be held at 10AM Friday, January 10th, 2025 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Harrodsburg Road. Visitation will be prior from 9AM until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. The burial will be in Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY.
