Gary Lee Butcher, age 73, of Midlothian, TX passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at his residence in Edgarton, WV surrounded by his loved ones. Born February 19, 1947 in McCarr, KY, he was the son of the late Sam and Irene Kirk.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by the love of his life Linda Kay Gooslin Butcher, and one sister, Sandy Davis.
Gary was a former coal miner, electrician, and he was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include Tabatha "Tammy" Kay (Daryl) Mick of Midlothian, TX, Tina Lea (the late Marty) Haight of Italy, TX, and Tracy Renea (Chris) Nussbeck of Franktown, CO; his grandchildren, Jimmy Lell, Aaron Mick, Allen (Cassie) Mick, Austin Mick, Dylan Haight, Grace Haight, Hannah Haight, Madison Nussbeck, Skylar Nussbeck, and Haylee Nussbeck; his great-grandchildren, Laycee Mick and Walker Allen Mick; a special friend whom he loved as a daughter Crystal Schwartz; his brothers, Bill (Sherry) Mace and Nathan (Dianna) Kirk; his sisters, Marsha (Joe) Ibos and Neva Kirk, and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
Graveside services and entombment will be conducted Friday, August 7, 2020 at 12:00 pm at the Mountain View Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Huddy, KY with Pastor Shawn Gooslin officiating.
Due to state mandates concerning COVID19, social distancing and facial covering regulations have to be observed.
