Gertrude "Gertie" Calhoun

Gertrude "Gertie" Calhoun, 89, and longtime resident of Trinity Healthcare of Williamson, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020 at the Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson, KY.  Born December 8, 1930 in Martin County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Musick and Georgia Elkins Calhoun.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by brothers, Ernest, Julius, and Troy Calhoun, and sisters, Pearl Stiltner, Bertha Staton, Rosie Justice, Zetta Adkins, and Grace Finley.

Survivors include her brother, Oscar Calhoun of Martin County, KY and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Mountain View Memory Gardens at Maher, WV with Pastor Paul Murdock of the Chattaroy Missionary Baptist Church officiating and burial to follow.

In accordance with current COVID19 mandates, facial coverings and social distancing should be observed.
