Gregory J. Stepp

Gregory J. Stepp, 64, of Turkey Creek, KY passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at his home following a brief illness.  Born June 8, 1956 in Pike County, KY, he was the son of the late Dewey Ervin and Lillian (Hunt) Stepp.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death a brother, Charles “Pete” Stepp, and a sister, Patsy Haynes.

Greg was a 1974 graduate of Belfry High School and a longtime employee of Cowin & Co. from which he retired in June 2020.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia (Curtis) Stepp of Turkey Creek, KY, 2 sons, Brian (Mindy) Stepp of Kodak, TN and Gregory (Charla) Stepp of South Bend, IN, 3 daughters, Tara Hicks of Williamson, WV, Jamie Stepp and Rebecca Stepp both of Salyersville, KY, 2 brothers, John (Lorraine) Stepp of Arab, AL and Gary (Margo) Stepp of Arab, AL, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a beloved host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Monday evening at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with service at 7:00 pm.  To honor his request, cremation will follow.

Due to COVID19, all attending must wear a mask or facial covering and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
