Grover Dave Mahon

Grover Dave Mahon, 84, of Beech Creek, WV passed away Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson, KY.  Born May 12, 1941 at O’Keefe, WV, he was the son of the late Melvin and Easter Kennedy Mahon. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Mahon, a brother, Carl Mahon, and two sisters, Mary Mahon and Ruby Mahon. 

Dave was a former coal miner and truck driver and was of the Church of Christ faith. 

Survivors include his sons, Grover D. (Bernice) Mahon Jr. and Joey (Cindy) Mahon both of Beech Creek, WV, his daughter, Melissa (Arnold) Mahon of Beech Creek, WV, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a great- great grandchild due in October, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. 

In honoring Dave’s wishes, no services will be held.  He will be laid to rest on Monday; June 2, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Grover Kennedy & Mahon Cemetery at Beech Creek, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
