Hazel Marie Tilley

Hazel Marie Tilley, 67, of McCarr, KY passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Born February 17, 1957 in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Arnold “Hawk” and Mollie McCoy Tilley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joe “Booker” Ratliff, and brothers, Jack, Bruce, Arnold, and Tommy Tilley. 

Hazel worked at various jobs over the years including being manager of the Long John Silvers in South Williamson. 

Survivors include two sons, Arthur Blankenship of Pikeville, KY and Adam Blankenship of Florida, her brothers, Bob (Connie) Tilley of McCarr, KY, John (Peggy) Tilley of Ohio, Millard (Debbie) Tilley of Tennessee, Hawk (Rita) Tilley of Ransom, KY, and Roger Tilley of Pennsylvania, a sister, Kathy (Tom) Laney of McCarr, KY, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held from 1:00-5:00 pm Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Toler Freewill Baptist Church.
