James Howard Dean

James Howard Dean, 41, of Williamson, WV passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at his home.  Born November 28, 1978 in Mingo County, WV, he was the son of the late James Colen Dean and Teresa Ann Steele Dean.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by infant sisters, Brandi and Samantha Dean.

James was a 1998 graduate of Williamson High School and he was a former coal miner.

Survivors include his wife, Melinda Staggs Dean of Williamson, WV, his father and mother-in-law, Ed and Linda Staggs of Ransom, KY, his best friend who was like his brother, Edwin Roer of Williamson, WV, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation has taken place.  The family will receive friends for a memorial and time of remembrance on Monday, Monday, November 2, 2020 from 1-3 pm at the funeral home.
