James "Jimmy" Earl Crabtree

James "Jimmy" Earl Crabtree, 61, of Delbarton, WV passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 peacefully at his home.  Born October 7, 1959 at Freeburn, KY, he was the son of the late Johnny O. and Mary M. Gross Crabtree.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Johnny F. Crabtree, Chuck Davis, and Darrell Bralley, and 3 sisters, Barbara A. Helvey, Alison L. Crabtree, and Tiny Jarvis.

Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, working on vehicles, and playing the guitar.  A loving father to his kids, he was loved by many.

Those left behind to cherish his memories include his loving wife, Julie Acord Crabtree, 2 sons, James Darrell Crabtree and William Crabtree, 2 daughters, Shirley Hitchcock and Rhonda Amick, 1 sister, Phyllis Stell, 22 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Friday evening at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with services at 7:00 pm with Bro. Russell Ray Prince officiating.  In honoring Jimmy's wishes, cremation will take place following the services Friday evening.
