Jami Lynn Maynard, 56, of Belfry, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from her residence after a short illness. Born August 18, 1967 in Williamson, WV, she was the daughter of Judy Smith Stumbo of Varney, WV and the late James Isaac Stumbo.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Lisa Renee Stumbo.
Jami was a dedicated daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a former Central Sterile Tech at Pikeville Medical Center and co-owner of the former B&J Trucking. She was a member of the Fifth Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Buddy Maynard of Belfry, KY, her children, Brandon (Delena) Maynard, KSP Trooper Chase Maynard, and Jacob (Halie) Maynard all of Belfry, KY, a stepson, Chad Maynard of Florida, her sister, Jennifer (Michael) Sparks of Williamson, WV, her brother, Jeffrey Stumbo of Dallas, TX, 3 grandchildren, Tanner Maynard, Brantley Maynard, and Daxton Maynard, 2 step grandchildren, Connor Maynard and Alexis Maynard, special nieces, Carly Sparks and Jenna Sparks, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Fifth Avenue Church of Christ in Williamson, WV with Bro. Timmy Lucas officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowe Cemetery at Hatfield, KY. Active pallbearers will be Chase Maynard, Brandon Maynard, Jacob Maynard, Tanner Maynard, and Michael Sparks. Honorary pallbearer will be Anthony Runyon.
Visitation will be after 6:00 pm Tuesday evening at the Fifth Avenue Church of Christ.
