JoAnn “Jo” Hatfield, 75, of Williamson, WV passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Born June 17, 1947 at Meador, WV, she was the daughter of the late Thias and Ingle Mahon Murphy.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Hatfield, and her sister, Edna.
Jo was a homemaker and worked for over 30 years as a pharmacy tech at the Williamson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the 5th Avenue Church of Christ. Jo enjoyed life and her quick wit and sense of humor were unmatched.
Survivors include daughters, Amy Hatfield of Huntington, WV and Angela Hatfield of Shawboro, NC, son, Bryan Hatfield of Greensboro, NC, a special daughter, Niki Jackson of Shawboro, NC, a brother, Charlie Murphy of Indiana, her grandchildren, Jaxson Kinder, G. Cisco, Weston Hatfield, Tyler Hatfield, Katie Hatfield, and Brayden Hatfield, niece, Georgia Cisco of Charleston, WV, nephews, Gaylen Cisco of Kenova, WV and Stevie Bowen of Belfry, KY, her fur baby son Baxter, and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.
In honoring Jo’s wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 5th Avenue Church of Christ in Williamson, WV.
