Joann (Stollings) Smith

Joann Smith, 94, of Williamson, WV passed away Friday, June 28, 2024 at the Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson, KY.  Born September 4, 1929 in Williamson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ken and Jenny Varney Stollings. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Smith, and two sons, Barry Smith and Larry Smith. 

Joann was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Ralph “Dusty” (Judy) Smith of Williamson, WV and Claude “Peanut” Smith of Williamson, WV, two daughters, Vicki (Doug) Diamond of Fort Gay, WV and Debbie (Joe Eddie) Griffith of Madison, WV, her grandchildren, Todd Griffith, Shane Griffith, Greg “Hootie” Smith, Jonathan Smith, Kim Whitt, Kevin Diamond, Matthew Smith, Nathan Smith, Brandon Smith, Angela Crum, and Ashley Kennedy.  Also surviving is a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other family, and friends. 

Private graveside services will be held.
