John Henry “Binky” Wolford Jr., 52, of Logan, WV formerly of Beech Creek, WV passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Born August 5, 1969 in Williamson, WV, he was the son of Patsy Hammond Wolford and the late John Henry Wolford Sr.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Mark Wolford.
Binky was a former coal miner.
Survivors include his mother, Patsy Hammond Wolford, his wife, Tammy Fleming Wolford, 2 daughters, Megan (Jeff) Goff and Kayla (Josh) Ball, 2 sons, John E. Wolford (Adrianna) and Corey Wolford (Danyelle), a step-daughter, Dee Dee Moss, a step-son, David Moss, 1 brother, Stanley (Lisa) Wolford, 1 sister, Hengela (Tim) Coleman, 9 grandchildren, Davin, Addy, and Shaleigh Ball, Tristan Collins, Imrholin Wolford, Hudson Goff, Isabella, Jaydin, and Keagan Ball, 5 nephews, TJ Murphy, Zac Layne, Tyler Lane, Ryan Bentley, and Preston Bentley, 1 niece, Jackie Murphy, several great-nieces and great-nephews, a special brother-in-law, Raymond Koon, and a host of other family and friends.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 2:30 pm at the Family Cemetery on the Right Hand Fork of Beech Creek, WV with Bro. David Blankenship and Bro. Travis Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
