Johnny Ford Jackson, 77, of Hardy, KY passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Born September 3, 1945 at North Matewan, WV, he was the son of the late Henry Ford Jackson and the late Fern Scott Jackson Gooslin.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, John Paul Gooslin, George Edward Gooslin, Danny Gooslin, and Columbus Glen Gooslin, and sister, Roberta Catherine Gooslin, and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Jackson.
Johnny retired from Ford Motor Company in Lorain, OH. An avid musician, he played the guitar and had recorded 23 albums. He attended the Toler Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his fiancé, Connie L. Pruitt, his four children, Douglas Earl Jackson, Laura Ann Jackson, Joseph Alan Jackson, and William Francis Jackson, two sisters, Patsy Chapman and Ruth Ann Tilley, one brother, Jonah Gooslin, his grandchildren, Jasmine, Cora, Amanda, Stephanie, William Francis Jr., Frankie Lynn, and Jonathan. Also surviving is a host of other family and friends.
In honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
