Joy Lee Collins Stumbo

Joy Lee Collins Stumbo, 54, of Williamson, WV passed away Sunday, January 31, 2020 at her home.  Born March 18, 1966 in Mingo County, WV, she was the daughter of Louise Price Gregory of Williamson, WV and the late Billy Ray Collins. 

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Gail Daniels. 

Joy was a homemaker and formerly worked at the Omni Mart, Big Lots, and Marathon.  She was of the Church of God faith. 

Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, James Stumbo of Williamson, WV, two sons, Shaun (Nicole) Collins of Richmond, KY and Chad (Ra’Chelle) Collins of Maher, WV, two brothers, Billy Collins of Delbarton, WV and Nicky Collins of Williamson, WV, one sister, Lisa Collins of Florida, and her grandchildren, Kinzlie Collins, Brynna Collins, Cadence Collins, Ethan Collins, Janessa Stumbo, and Jasmine Stumbo. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Frank "Baldie" Marcum and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Chattaroy, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Due to the current Covid19 health situation, all in attendance must wear a mask or facial covering and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
