Kathy Ann Taylor Obituary

Kathy Ann Taylor - Born Dec. 27th, 1957, in Junction City, Kansas, Kathy passed away on April 27th, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents: Sgt. Ernest R. Taylor and Peggy A. Fouch Taylor; two brothers: Ernest R. (Butch) Taylor, Jr. and George R. Taylor; sister at birth, Ardith A. Taylor; and her ex-husband: Blaine E. Parsley. Kathy is survived by her daughters: Kari E. Parsley and Victoria F. Parsley; Sisters and Brother: Peggy A. (Garland) Harper, Ernestine A. Taylor and Bobby G. (Nancy) Taylor; brother of the heart, Paul R Fouch Jr. and Roberto Mendoza; beloved aunt/sisters Brenda (Gary) Hunt, Alice (John) Helvey, and Sandra G. Adkins as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kathy enjoyed her life of travel and the places they lived while growing up in the military. She was of the Church of God faith, but in early years belonged to the Slater’s Branch Freewill Baptist Church. She loved working in the church and taught Sunday school, bible study, and was a church secretary for many years. While she loved her years of working, her greatest joy was being able to raise her daughters.

Kathy had a strong belief in God and taking life in the day. She believed that all things happen for a reason if we only remember that God sees the big picture.
