Lois Irene Workman

Lois Irene Workman, 70, of Meador, WV unfortunately passed away in the early morning of Monday, February 15, 2021 due to a hard battle with cancer.  She passed away in Huntington, WV where she had been staying since her health declined back in October 2020.

Lois was born to Fonnie and Mathew Workman in O'Keefe, WV on August 29, 1950.  She was one of six children.  She loved to spend time with her family and friends.  Lois was a devoted member of the Newtown Free Pentecostal Church of God.  She was a loving christian woman with a heart of gold.  Lois loved to sing in church and worship God.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mathew Workman, her mother, Fonnie Workman, a brother, Robert Workman, a sister, Virginia Workman, son, Douglas Michalski, grandson, Aaron Michalski, and her significant other, Clinton Cisco.

Lois is survived by her children, Randy Michalski and Charlene Hayes, sisters, Flora Keeler and Helen Cisco, brother, Mathew Workman Jr., grandchildren, Joshua Michalski, Jeffery Mounts, Marvin Mounts, and Michelle Hayes, great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Dailey and Mason Dailey, and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY.

Due to COVID19, all attending must wear a mask or facial covering and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
