Louise Lester Obituary

Louise Lester, 70, of Paw Paw, KY, went to be with the Lord on Sunday; November 2, 2025. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Louise was born February 14, 1955 in Grundy, VA, to the late Joe Earl and June Elowise Lester Justice. Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Danny Lester; her son-in-law, Danny Ray New; her brothers, Joe Earl Justice Jr, and Billy Justice, as well as a special pet, Lulu.

Louise was most known for her feisty attitude, unbelievable strength, and unconditional love. As for her life, she married on May 8th, 1973. With Danny, she would share two children, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Louise was very fond of her owl collection. She held her love for owls right next to popcorn and Pepsi. Life was unfair to Lousie at the young age of 27, but she persevered through this unfortunate happening for 43 years. She beat the odds in every way again and again.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Dinah (Curtis) Wolford of Paw Paw, Kentucky, and her son, Daniel "Jake" (Nancy) Lester of Coal City, West Virginia. Louise had four grandsons: Brandon Lee (Anna) New, Dylan Ray (Haley) New, Cameron Lee (Lauren) Lester, and Bobby Junior (Kristen) Sargent. Her granddaughters include Mary Eloise New, Megan Brooke Lester, and Tiffany (Keith) Randles. In addition, she leaves behind three great-grandsons: Carson Ray New, Easton Hayes New, and Paxton Randles, as well as four great-granddaughters: Olivia Randles, Alanna, Raelynn, and Hadley Sargent. Louise is also survived by her special in-law, Douglas Ray Lester; her sisters: Mary Walker, Pat Chaney, and Sue Harr; and her brother, Jimmy Justice.  Louise is also survived and missed by a host of nieces and nephews, special family, and friends, along with her beloved cat, Max.

The family will gather with friends to honor the life of this amazing woman, in the Two Hands for Christ Community Church at Paw Paw, KY on Thursday, November 6 and Friday, November 7 starting at 5:00 pm with services at 7:00 pm. Once again family will gather in the church on Saturday, November 8, 2025 for funeral services at 1:00 pm with Bro.
