Margaret Ann Mann Francis, 82, of White Pine, TN and former longtime resident of Lower Big Creek, KY passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Life Care Center in Jefferson City, TN. Born August 13, 1941 in Blackey, KY, she was the daughter of the late Chris and Minerva Mullett Mann.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Conard Francis, five brothers, Eugene Mann, Ed Mann, Chris Mann Jr., Lloyd Mann, and Roger Mann, and two sisters, Patsy Chaffins and Martha Dillon.
Margaret was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Conard Francis Jr. “Bub” (Tama) of White Pine, TN and Timothy Francis of Williamson, WV, two daughters, Patricia “Trish” Owens (Kelly) of Sevierville, TN and Sherry Hively (Tom) of White Pine, TN, a special granddaughter, Diana Moles (Frazier Barbery) of Orlando, FL, grandchildren, Timmy Francis (PJ), Brad Francis, Brittany Snipp (Brian), Mathew Francis, Jason Owens, Randy Maynard, and Delmar Francis (Tasha), special great-grandchildren, Chase Moles (Paula), Nathaniel, Martin, Danielle, Savannah, Shae Sky Bridgett, one sister, Joyce Francis of Big Creek, KY, two brothers, George “Bill” Mann of Martin County, KY and Robert Mann (Betty) of Halls, TN, two special sisters-in-law, Margaret Preece and Brenda “Sue” Wolfe, one brother-in-law, Robert Francis, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the Nolan Street Church at Nolan, WV with Bro. John Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Francis Cemetery in Huntleyville, KY with son, grandsons, and son-in-law serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Friday evening at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel with services at 7:00 pm with Bro. Earl White officiating. The body will lie in state 1 hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.
