Martha "Sis Ratliff" Reed

Martha “Sis Ratliff” Reed, 72, of McCarr, KY passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Born October 1, 1949 in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Ratliff and the late Bunia Whitt Huddle.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Freddie Ratliff, Joe Ratliff, and Junior Ratliff. 

Sis was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. 

Survivors include her longtime companion, Johnny Rutherford of McCarr, KY, her daughter, Kim (Barry) May of Winslow, IN, 1 brother, Hezzy (Melissa) Ratliff of Jefferson City, TN, 2 sisters, Linda (Bill) Duke of Flatwoods, KY and Mary Ratliff of Pike County, KY, her grandchildren, Tabby (Nathan) Mitchell, Kassie (Trey) Spaulding, and Harley May, her great-grandchildren, Liam, Oakley, and Trinity Mitchell, Rhett, Cyrus, and Jace Spaulding.  Also surviving is a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Westview Cemetery in Jefferson City, TN.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home with services at 7:00 pm with Bro. Robbie Smith officiating.
