Marvin Hensley

Marvin Hensley, 57, of Cumberland, KY and Pikeville, KY passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 in Pikeville, KY.  Born February 28, 1963 in Cumberland, KY, he was the son of the late James and Cornelia Good Hensley.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Hensley, and a sister, Linda Lindkvist.

Marvin was a former metal worker and he was a Christian. He was an die hard UK fan.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Thacker of Pikeville, KY, his children, Adam (Kendra) Hensley of Sidney, KY, Savanna (Andrew) Prater of Georgetown, KY, and Ashley Hensley of Pikeville, KY, four brothers, Gary Hensley of Benham, KY, Jeff Taylor of Cumberland, KY, John Taylor of Dayton, OH, and Ken Hensley of Shepherdsville, KY, one sister, Reva Kasey of Louisville, KY, his grandchildren, Peyton, Damon, and Kane Hensley and Iris Minnis.  Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY.  Burial will follow in the Morris Cemetery at Dix Fork; Sidney, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Monday evening June 29, 2020 at the funeral home.
