Mary Magdaline Price, 80, of West Williamson, WV passed away Wednesday; February 4, 2026 from the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Born December 9, 1945 in Martin County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Elias and Dora Porter Maynard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Price Sr., a daughter, Joyce Gail Price, two granddaughters, Bailey and Chelsea Price, a great grandchild, Brooks Smith, her brothers, Robert, Harm, Emmitt, Joe, and John Maynard, and sisters, Susie Preece, Ollie Jewell, Eunice Ray, and Ruth Justice.
Mary worked many jobs throughout her life including in the dietary department at Williamson Memorial Hospital and various retail positions. To know Mary was to love her. She lit up every room that she entered. She will be deeply missed!
Survivors include her children, James Price Jr. (Ashley) of Williamson, WV, Pam Varney (Barry) of Turkey Creek, KY, Michael (Christy) Price of Williamson, WV, and Donna (Mike) Ratliff of Gray, TN; her grandchildren, Garrick (Sarah) Price, Zachary Marincil (Katie), Hailey (Dustin) Smith, Cassidy (Brandon) Blackburn, Ashley Marincil (Luke), Caden Price, Matthew Price, and Maya Price; her great-grandchildren, Spencer, Harrison, Oliver, Harper, Jase, Jaxx, Brinley, and Braxton; a sister, Nola Endicott of Inez, KY; two people who were like her daughters, Julie and Amy Poore; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday; February 8, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, KY with Bro. Terry Varney officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens at Huddy, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Saturday evening at the funeral home.
