(Mary) Gladys (Bogar) Brookhart, 98, of Lexington, KY passed away September 4, 2020.

She is survived by her son, Ernest Brookhart, and daughter, Sharon (Edward Hamala) Brookhart; son-in-law, Jesse Alexander III; grandchildren, Mark and Jesse (Sharon) Alexander IV; great-grandchildren, Michaela and Jesse Alexander V; sister, Ollie Caines, and brother, Sonny (Ruby) Bogar, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Brookhart, daughter, Loretta Alexander, her parents, Ermil and Elsie (Hatfield) Bogar; sisters, Ressie (Jack) Strange and Magdalene (Elmer) Stacey; brothers, Roy (Lois), L.D. (Jean), and J.E. (Birdie Mae) Bogar.

Most recently she was a member of the First Baptist Church, Irene Cole Memorial in Prestonsburg, KY.  She was a former member of the Forest Hills Baptist Church in Forest Hills, KY where she served as Church Treasurer for many years.
